The general practitioners and other care providers in the practice function as initial points of contact for people with their primary health questions. Moreover, general practitioners play a central role within health care as a whole. We aim at providing integral, personalized, continual and safe care of high, evidence-based quality.
In its service to patients our practice subscribes to the guidelines of the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG) and the National Association of General Practitioners (LHV). The practice operates according to the protocols of the Dutch College of General Practitioners (NHG). The central focus is on continual education and training of all staff members in accordance with the latest medical standards and insights, so as to offer the best possible and safest care to patients. An integral part of the educational cycle within the practice is to guarantee that knowledge and insights acquired are embedded in processes and methods. Both internally and externally, the practice is dedicated to open monitoring.
Our practice is accredited and offers a traineeship to a GP under training. Every year the practice draws up plans to improve the care offered. The practice attempts to implement all the chain care programmes for chronic patients offered by the ROHA caregroup. Medically indicated patients can thus receive this structured care as close to home as possible.
